In 2006, I went outside my company for the first time for support services. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but within a month, I had handed all my administrative work over to her. It was like she was everything I never knew I always needed.

Since then, I've consistently delegated 20-70% of my administrative and lead generating workload to virtual support people. Whether I was working for a large national real estate investment company, or running my local real estate brokerage, it's always been something I've relied on.

A few years ago, friends started asking me to help them find virtual support people for their businesses too. I was glad to help but the fascinating thing is that those people I placed all those years ago are still there, working with the same companies.

One of those friends finally said, "you should do this for more people". "I think there are lots of people that could use this, but they don't know where to start or they don't see how it could work in their business." He said that he thought the same thing, until he didn't.

So here we are now coming along solopreneurs, small businesses, and professionals, helping them with all of the things they can't do or don't want to do so they can get to the good stuff.

Think about it like this. My kids hated vegetables growing up. It was a fight every night. They left them there on the side of the plate while they gobbled up the meat and potatoes. But then, we wouldn't let them get up without eating the veggies, and we were just the worst in their eyes. Ha ha.

If my kids had someone that they could just delegate the veggie eating to every night they would have been over the moon. No more sitting there agonizing over the yucky part. Well that's kind of what we are. We eat the veggies for the business, so our clients can get the good stuff, the meat and potatoes.

And truthfully, my team actually loves the veggies. It's their favorite part.
